Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 1, 2025

At Free Signature Maker ("we", "us", or "our"), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Free Signature Maker and how we use it.

1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture (Client-Side Only)

We operate differently from traditional cloud-based signature tools. We utilize a technology called Client-Side Processing.

  • No File Uploads: When you "upload" a PDF or image to sign, the file never leaves your computer. It is processed entirely within your web browser's memory (RAM).
  • No Storage: We do not have servers that store, view, or analyze your documents. Since we don't have your files, we cannot lose them, share them, or sell them.
  • No Sign-Up Data: Since we do not require registration, we do not hold your email address, name, or password.

2. Information We Collect

While we do not collect your documents, we may collect standard internet log information to ensure the stability of our website:

  • Log Files: internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This data is not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

3. Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Free Signature Maker uses "cookies". These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences (such as Light Mode or Dark Mode settings) and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

4. Third Party Privacy Policies

Free Signature Maker's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers (such as Google AdSense or Analytics) for more detailed information.

5. GDPR Data Protection Rights

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data. However, as we do not store your documents or personal signatures, there is typically no data for us to erase upon request.
